Next

This survey intends to collect information about mental health in the IT/tech community. All responses are anonymous, and no identifying information will be collected or stored. If you have questions or comments about this survey, please email survey@osmihelp.org.

How Will This Data Be Used?

We are interested in gauging how mental health is viewed within the tech/IT workplace, and the prevalence of certain mental health disorders within the tech industry. The Open Sourcing Mental Illness team of volunteers will use this data to drive our work in raising awareness and improving conditions for those with mental health disorders in the IT workplace.

This survey is for everyone working in tech, not just those who have a mental health issue.

All data will be released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.

This survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Thank you for your time!

Required questions are marked with an asterisk (*)

Some questions about work-provided health care may not seem relevant depending on the country you live in. Please answer these questions as accurately as possible. Later in the survey you will be able to indicate the country where you live and work. We will account for this when analyzing the data.

For the purposes of this survey:

A mental health disorder
is defined as a mental illness that has been diagnosed by a doctor

A mental health issue
